The Mexican Copper Canyon is four times bigger than the Grand Canyon in Arizona; four of its six canyons are deeper- some by over 1000 feet. Pátzcuaro is a gorgeous town on the edge of a lake, with its fishermen in small boats with butterfly-shaped nets. Santa Clara is a unique town where we will observe artisans working with copper. Morelia is considered one of the Cultural Heritage of the World sites, with its buildings dating from the 16th century. Miguel Padilla, Argonaut’s founder, has designed this itinerary after years of traveling the area and has thought about offering our clientele a very unique tour at an excellent price. This tour is the culmination of his choices of places not-to-be-missed when visiting southern, central, and the Eastern peninsula of Mexico.
